The initiative, comments Luca Guercilena, co-owner of Simaco Elettromeccanica, "is born from the company's desire to invest forward-thinkingly in the health of its employees and collaborators, recognizing prevention as a fundamental tool for individual protection, social responsibility, and the evolution of corporate welfare."
The program proposed at SIMACO Elettromeccanica, designed and coordinated by the medical staff of ISAC and Lodisalute, stands out for its integrated approach between occupational medicine and specialist prevention in a local context where oncological diseases represent a significant cause of morbidity in the working-age population.

SIMACO Elettromeccanica has chosen to go beyond regulatory requirements by promoting a voluntary, structured, and high-value healthcare program for all staff. ISAC, thanks to its experience in managing corporate health surveillance, led the clinical coordination of the project and its integration with corporate protocols, while Lodisalute, capable of providing continuity of care where necessary, ensured quality, appropriateness, and speed in the assessment and delivery of services. A key element of the project is the operational synergy between ISAC and LODISALUTE, which forms a healthcare network across the region with two outpatient clinics in Lodi, Codogno (Codognosalute), and Sant’Angelo Lodigiano (Santangelosalute).
The widespread presence throughout the province allows for high accessibility, organizational flexibility, and reduced waiting times, offering an efficient service that meets the needs of companies and workers.
This prevention program includes a specialist medical examination and a complete abdominal ultrasound. This is performed entirely on-site using portable technology, ensuring a non-invasive, radiation-free examination. This provides an initial assessment and is an effective tool for prevention and early detection of any structural changes.
The sensitivity demonstrated by SIMACO's owners, states Fulvio Pandini, CEO of ISAC, "demonstrates a modern and responsible vision of the company, in which the protection of employees and collaborators plays a central role. Investing in prevention means contributing to greater general well-being, improving the corporate climate, strengthening a sense of belonging, and promoting a shared culture of health."
"Thanks to the strong integration between ISAC and the LODISALUTE local network," comments Gianluca Carenzo, CEO of Lodisalute, "the project represents an innovative model of collaboration between occupational medicine and specialized healthcare, capable of combining clinical quality, organizational efficiency, and social responsibility."

The initiative, which took place at the company's headquarters, had almost a 100% participation rate, considering both employees and collaborators, confirming SIMACO Elettromeccanica as a virtuous example in the local business landscape and demonstrating that innovation, prevention, and care for people can proceed together in a concrete and structured way.
