What's new in the welding sector in 2025?

At the Schweissen & Schneiden exhibition - THE WORLD'S LEADING TRADE FAIR FOR WELDING, CUTTING AND COATING at the Essen fair (Germany) in September, we previewed the new products developed by our in-house R&D department.

Innovative solutions created from a blank sheet of paper and implementations of our ranges already widely used on the market.

KN38

The result of in-depth research supported by our digital simulation systems (CFD), the new KN38 joins the current KN series of cooling units for welding machines. Created as a special version of the KN37 to meet the specific needs of certain customers, it allows us to reach new performance milestones. Without external structural modifications (the overall dimensions are identical to a KN37), by working only on the hydraulic part and eliminating some inefficiencies, it was possible to achieve a 28,5% increase in performance (+10m of head) with a 9,4% increase in consumption (+2,5W).

KN45 DC-24V

The range of electric pumps powered by 24V DC motors is expanding with the introduction of the larger KN45 model. These smaller motors are more efficient than standard AC asynchronous motors and do not require forced ventilation for heat management. This compact pump features a dedicated performance curve, designed for applications requiring significant heat extraction at low heads. The circular motor allows for customizable mounting options based on installation requirements.

KN39 MINI

After a thorough analysis of the welding market, Simaco is pleased to present the latest innovation from its R&D department: the smallest KN ever created. This was achieved through the study of the pump's internal dynamics and over 6 months of fluid dynamic simulations to achieve the best possible performance at the flow rates used in cooling units (<3.5 l/min).

A revolution in the industry with minimum dimensions reduced by over 85% thanks in part to ultra-compact, latest-generation sensored DC-24V motors. These motors allow for a reduction in power input of almost 50% compared to a KN37. They feature a dynamic hydraulic curve capable of adapting to a wide range of needs, with low-flow performance superior to a KN37 (+30% @2 lpm and +62% @1 lpm).
